This
campaign involves using the dream car of Gina, the main character in
Dodie’s novel. Her dream car is a vintage 1978 Datsun 280Z, which
Dodie owns. Dodie will have the car restored and then connect with
celebrities who will sign the car (as Jay Leno has done on The Tonight
Show with a motorcycle.) to make it valuable. She will then connect
with a network like ESPN or a sports team like the Mets or Yankees or
the Patriots or an organization such as NASCAR or Disney and team up
with them to use the car at their events as a focus to raise money for
a local charity in the town where each event takes place.
